[Fertilizer Containers （ Compost Containers ・ Sealed Containers ） 】
These containers can be placed in gardens and fields to ferment food waste using the action of microbes and bacteria in the soil, or placed in kitchens and other places inside homes to ferment ・ and decompose with EM bacteria to make compost. This is used to make compost.

[Mechanical Processor （ Recycler ）]
Used in the kitchen or other places in the house to dry food scraps using electricity and heat to convert them into fertilizer.

＝ Fertilization container ・ Good mechanical processor ＝
Reduces food waste odor.
No need to put food scraps out at the garbage station, so crows, cats, etc. do not destroy them.
Since the amount of garbage is reduced by the amount of food waste, the designated garbage bags can be reduced in size or the number of bags purchased can be reduced, saving the fees for burnable garbage bags.
The material produced by containers and processors can be used as a gardening fertilizer with just a little effort.

◆Examples of mechanical processors

1 ． Install under eaves or in kitchen.
2 ． Put in well drained food scraps. Cut large items into small pieces.
3 ． Switch on the machine. Hot air at about 130℃ dries and sterilizes the food scraps, reducing their volume. The process takes about 2 hours.
4 ． After processing, the volume of garbage is reduced to about 1/7. If the waste is stored until the collection day, the number of times the waste is disposed of can be reduced. In addition, the treated waste can be used as fertilizer.

1/2 of the purchase price excluding consumption tax （ Rounded down to the nearest 100 yen ）
However, compost containers and sealed containers are charged 6,000 yen per container. 6,000 yen per container for compost containers and sealed containers, and up to 25,000 yen for mechanical disposal machines.
・ Items and number of items eligible for subsidy
Up to 2 compost containers and 3 sealed containers per household for fertilizer containers.
Up to one mechanical processor per household.
・ Re-subsidy
Compost containers ・ Sealed containers are again eligible for subsidy if purchased again after 2 years of purchase and mechanical processors after 5 years of purchase.
・ Grant requirements
Must be purchased from a dealer designated by the City.
（ Note ） Purchases made through the Internet or other means not at designated dealers are not eligible for subsidy.
The application must be submitted within one year of purchase.
Individuals who live and reside in the city and are not in arrears of city taxes.
