Just a few more days to go until the cherry blossoms bloom in late March ！ Introducing cherry blossom viewing spots: "Cherry Blossom Festival" at four cherry blossom viewing spots in Matsudo City ！.

In Toe City, cherry blossoms are usually at their best in late March ～ early April. There are 6 streets in the city with "Sakura" in the street name, and "Sakura Festival" is held at 4 cherry blossom viewing spots.

Enjoy Matsudo's cherry blossoms, from classic spots to hidden gems, just 17 minutes from Ueno Station or off the Matsudo IC of the Tokyo Gaikan Expressway by car.

■ Tokiwandaira Sakura Street （ Someiyoshino, Oshima cherry ）


"100 best roads in Japan", Shin Keisei Yabashira Station ・ JR Shin Yabashira This road is a 3-kilometer-long cherry blossom avenue stretching from JR Shin-Yabashira Station to Goka Station via Tokiwadaira Station, including （ Tokiwadaira Sakura-dori ）. The Tokiwadaira Sakura Street, with its rows of someiyoshino and oshimazakura cherry trees more than 50 years old and a tunnel of cherry trees, has been designated as one of the "100 best roads in Japan".

■ Yabashira Sakura Area （ Someiyoshino cherry trees ）


South exit of Yabashira Station, the nearest station to the "21st Century Forest and Plaza" and leading to Tokiwadaira Sakura-dori, selected as one of the 100 best roads in Japan From the area around the rotary to the Jinya-mae Sakura Bridge, visitors can enjoy the cherry blossoms at night.

■ "Tojo Residence Garden" designated as a national beauty spot （ Someiyoshino cherry trees ）


Tojo Residence, a national important cultural property, selected as one of "100 Historical Parks in Japan" and "100 Views of Fujimi in Kanto. The residence where Tokugawa Yoshinobu ・ Shobu （ Akitake ）, the younger brother of Tokugawa Yoshinobu, lived in the Meiji era, is the only Tokugawa family residence in Japan that is open to the public. Enjoy the cherry blossoms that seem to fall from the sky.

■ Weeping cherry trees at Tozo-ji Temple


The precincts of Tozo-ji Temple, a 530-year-old temple of the Jodo sect located along the old Mito Kaido Road in Kogane, have been surrounded by forest since ancient times. The weeping cherry tree, which is said to be 9 meters high and over 300 years old, is designated as a natural monument of Matsudo City.

Tokiwadaira ～ A 2km stretch in Goka will be a pedestrian paradise with many stalls along the street. and many stalls are set up along the street. Hundreds of thousands of visitors throng the streets every year to enjoy the cherry blossoms in full bloom and gourmet food from the stalls. The festival features a parade of drum and fife bands and portable shrines, dances and live performances, and local residents participate as volunteer clean-up crews.

（ 2 ） Rokkodaira Cherry Blossom Festival

Held on （ Sakura Dori ） a large street running from northwest to southeast through the center of the Rokkodai area. Under the rows of cherry trees in Rokkodai, there will be performances by the Rokkodai Junior High School ・ Rokkodai High School Brass Band, as well as dance performances. The event will be crowded with about 110 flea markets and 150 street vendors.

Shin Keisei Yabashira Station ・ From the south exit rotary of JR Shin-Yabashira Station to the Sakura Bridge on Tokiwadaira Sakura Street （ lantern lighting ） You can enjoy a day in spring while admiring cherry blossoms and walking along the street. The special stage will be set up for a variety of performances. On a special stage, a variety of dances and performances by local elementary ・ junior high and ・ high school students will liven up the Sakura Festival.

（ 4 ） Kokubun River Sakura Festival


A community handmade cherry blossom festival where the friendly and warm atmosphere is heartwarming. Visitors can enjoy the rows of cherry trees blooming along the Kokubun River, where wrens and ducks gather and a peaceful atmosphere prevails, and the rape blossoms blooming along the riverbed.
