（ 1 ） City's response from April [Health and Children's Department]
The latest （ outbreak of new-type coronavirus infection from March 11 to 17 ） in the jurisdiction of Noda Public Health Center was 3.50 cases per fixed point, which is a slight increase from the previous week.

On May 8 last year, the status of new-type coronavirus infection （ COVID-19 ） under the Infectious Disease Control Law was changed to a category 5 infectious disease, and the medical care delivery system was changed from a special response by a limited number of medical institutions based on administrative involvement to an autonomous, normal response by a wide range of medical institutions. In March 2024, the government announced that the transition period would end at the end of March and that the normal medical care delivery system would be established. The city will continue to recommend basic infection control measures such as hand washing, hand sanitizing, and ventilation, and will continue to install partitions in public facilities for the time being, considering the risk to the elderly and others.
As for the Noda City fever consultation service, Chiba Prefecture will close the Chiba Prefectural New Coronavirus Infectious Disease Consultation Center at the end of March 2024, so the city will widely inform local medical institutions from April onward, and in consideration of the time required to inform citizens, the service will be closed at the end of April, Citizens will be informed that they should consult their family doctor or other medical institutions, and if they have any questions, they should contact the Health Center.
Regarding the Noda City New Coronavirus Task Force Meeting, it was decided to abolish the New Coronavirus Infectious Disease Control Headquarters at the end of March, since the national government will abolish the New Coronavirus Infectious Disease Control Headquarters at the end of March, and to hold the meeting as necessary, such as in case of rapid spread of infection.

As for vaccination in FY2024, the government has indicated that it will be administered once every year in the fall and winter to the elderly aged 65 and older and those aged 60 to 64 with certain underlying medical conditions, as is the case with routine vaccination for the elderly with influenza vaccine. The cost of the vaccination and other details are not yet known, and will be announced to citizens as soon as the details are known.
