Kimitsu City Seiwa District】 Recruitment of After-School Child Watching Activity Members

Here in the Seiwa district, where the birthrate is declining and schools are being consolidated, children are forced to take school buses to schools far away from their homes. Without transportation, children cannot play with their friends after school, and those who cannot are confined to their homes. Since there is no school childcare in the community, those of us who live here are limited in how we work, and this has caused some of us to move out of the area, furthering the decline in the local population.

However, everyone in the community is kind and many eyes are on the children, not only family members but also neighbors, parents of classmates, and senior citizens. Therefore, this activity was started with the aim of creating a place where people in the community can interact with the children on a daily basis while watching over them, a place for the community to relax like a tea drinking place, and a place for the parents of the children to continue working without moving out of Seiwa. So far, the event has been held about once a week, but we are aiming to hold it every day with more members watching over the children. If you want to enjoy working with children, please become our member.

Activity days ：
Weekdays after school ～ 18:00

Location ：
Kimitsu Seiwa Elementary School Gym （ 522 Higashi-Hikasa, Kimitsu, Chiba ）

Contents ：
◎ Receive children at the Seiwa Elementary School gymnasium at dismissal time
◎ Prepare snacks in the school gym
◎ Have children do homework （ No guidance required ）
◎ Watch over children playing
◎ Clean up with children
◎ See children off at the elementary school gym ・ Receive fees

Transportation and other expenses ：
Weekdays 1,000 yen （ 500 yen for one hour ）
During long school vacations Half day 1,500 yen ／ Full day 3,000 yen

*Only when it is convenient, or in hourly units is acceptable.
*Daily communication is done via LINE group.
