The caller stated
"A Tokyo gangster has purchased a cell phone in your name, so we will stop your cell phone."
The caller is expected to give various reasons to get personal information and try to defraud you of cash, cash cards, etc.
In addition, there has been a recent increase in the number of "voice guidance" phone calls claiming to be from telephone companies.
In order to protect your valuable personal information and money, we ask for your cooperation in taking measures to protect your telephone equipment, such as setting up an answering machine.
As for cell phones, please do not answer calls from unknown numbers immediately, but listen to the answering machine message before responding.
Please be cautious when dealing with phone numbers beginning with "＋" as it indicates an incoming international call.
