At around midday this afternoon, a robbery
occurred at a store in the Yachiyodai Minami area of Yachiyo City.
The perpetrators used a crowbar and other tools to destroy a showcase, and took a necklace and other items on display
before fleeing the scene.
Since the criminals may be in possession of a weapon, we ask that those who live in the area please make sure your front doors and windows
are locked and that you watch your children
when they go to and from school, such as by accompanying their parents.
