In recent years, it is said that one in nine Japanese women will develop breast cancer. It is the most common cancer among women in their lifetime. Breast cancer can be cured in over 95% of cases with early detection. It is important to have correct knowledge and undergo regular checkups. breast cancer screening for women in their 40s from August 1 and for women in their 30s from September 6 （ both at the end of the fiscal year ） will be conducted. We will also offer breast cancer screening and uterine cancer screening on the same day for those in their 40s.
The screening is by appointment only. Please make an appointment after confirming the schedule on the web reservation page below or by calling the appointment-only number.
You can make an appointment even if you do not have a ticket at hand, but please also apply for a ticket. You will need your breast cancer screening ticket on the day of the examination.
0. Those in their 40s
Tickets for those in their 40s were sent in late June to those who will turn 40 or 41 in 2024 and those who have undergone breast cancer screening at least once in the past three years. The examinations include mammography （ and breast X-ray ） at a cost of 900 yen.

Tickets for those in their 30s Tickets for those in their 30s were sent in early July to those who will turn 30 years old in 2024 and those who have had at least one breast cancer screening in the past three years. The examination consists of an ultrasound examination and costs 500 yen.
If you are not eligible to receive a ticket, please contact the Health Center or apply through Chiba e-Application Service before the examination.
Please note that those who have undergone breast augmentation surgery are not eligible for breast cancer screening. Please check the examination ticket for details. If you have subjective symptoms, please visit a medical institution directly.
