Chiba Prefecture certifies excellent and creative products developed and ・ manufactured by small and medium-sized enterprises as
Chiba Monozukuri Certified Products, and widely disseminates information and supports the development of
sales channels for these products.

▽ Qualifications
Applicants must be small and medium-sized enterprises as defined in Article 2 of the Law for Strengthening Management of Small and Medium Enterprises.
(2)Applicants must have a head office or place of business in Chiba Prefecture and have been operating their business continuously for at least one year.
(3)Must be engaged in a business that falls under the manufacturing or information and communication industry.　etc.

◆Notice of Revision of Laws and Regulations Concerning Industrial Safety and Health
Effective April 1, 2024, the regulations on chemical substances in the workplace were revised significantly.
The regulations on chemical substances in the workplace have been revised significantly since April 1, 2024. Some workplaces will be obliged to appoint a new "Chemical Substance Manager".

▽ Key Points of the Amendment
・ The communication of information on the hazards and harmfulness of chemical substances
to manufacturers of chemical substances and business operators that handle them has been strengthened, and based on this information business operators are required to conduct risk Based on this information, business operators are required to conduct risk assessments and implement measures to prevent exposure to
chemical substances.

・ Over the next few years, the number of substances for which SDS (*1) and labels (*2) will be issued will increase from
about 900 substances to about 2,300 substances.

*1 SDS is an acronym for Safety Data Sheet, a document that describes hazard and toxicity information of chemical substances
to be delivered when a business transfers
chemical substances and products containing chemical substances to another business ・. A document that describes the hazard and toxicity information of a chemical substance.

*2 A label is a simplified version of the SDS information and is attached to a container or package with
