In the city, there have been many suspicious calls to your landline phone from a person claiming to be from NTT, saying things like, "Your home landline phone will be disabled." The Matsudo Police Department is stepping up its vigilance in response to many suspicious phone calls such as the following.
Never answer personal information such as accounts you have, asset information, or addresses.
If someone calls and asks for money or a cash card, it is a scam.
Hang up the phone immediately and call the police.
We have also received a number of calls from people posing as remodeling companies (e.g., roof repair) or visiting customers (e.g., for gas checks)

Please make sure to lock your doors and windows even when you are at home.
Also, if a suspicious person comes to your house, do not let them in easily, but use the intercom.
If you see a suspicious person, please call 110 immediately.
