A boy living in Funabashi was diagnosed with measles, and a report of a measles outbreak was submitted to the city health center from the medical institution in the city where he was diagnosed. Our health center conducted an investigation and found that the patient had taken an airplane or cab during the period of possible infection and had visited two medical institutions outside the city before being hospitalized. Since there is a possibility that the person who came in contact with the patient may have been infected with measles, we are providing this information widely as a precautionary measure.
