0 Two incidents of motorcycle theft occurred at the same location and time
Both stolen motorcycles were mid-size motorcycles and may have been committed by more than one person involved. Simply removing the engine key and locking the handlebars of a motorcycle is not a complete security measure.
Motorcycles should also be two-locked ！ Use chain or wire locks to secure them to a fence or pole.


z Be careful of telephone fraud ！
During 2023, there were 11 cases of telephone fraud in Shirai City and the amount of damage was approximately 23.64 million yen, one more than the previous year.
Fortunately, there have been no reports of damage since the beginning of this year, but we are still receiving premonitory calls from scam perpetrators.
Citizens are urged not to think that they are the only ones who are safe, but to contact the Inzai Police Station immediately if they receive any suspicious calls or unfamiliar bills.

・ When you hear the keywords "money," "cash card," or "ATM" in a phone call or e-mail, suspect fraud first.

・ The best way to prevent damage is to not talk to the perpetrator (do not answer the phone). Start your fraud prevention efforts with a simple answering machine.
☆ Eradicate phone scams through family ties
・ Strengthen your family ties by keeping in touch on a regular basis.
・ Answering machine settings are effective in fighting off scams, so set them up.
