Badminton Circle Members Wanted ♪.

We are a newly launched badminton circle to relieve the lack of exercise.

*We started our first practice on 24/6/2018 and started our circle activity.
We have described the details to some extent, but it is only meant to convey the information in good faith.
We are currently accepting applications, however, we are taking into consideration the number of participants and the balance of regular ♂ ♀ participation rates when recruiting members, so depending on the situation, we may have limited openings or suspend for a long period of time if no one withdraws from the group.
We have a lot of nice people with good personalities, so it will be easy to join us.
Also, we are sorry to say that we do not accept any new members who have not confirmed their conditions before joining the group.

The participation ratio is 1:1 for doubles (2-2-4 on one court) and 8 players on two courts, so that even when there are many players, we rotate at a pace of once a match, once a break, ♂ ♀ participation ratio 1:1, 12 players (minimum 8 players). ～ We aim for about 16 participants (maximum 20).
We have also recently started triples on a trial basis to accommodate larger numbers, although the majority of our players play doubles.

Members are mainly in their 20's ～ early 30's ♂ ♀ The ratio of members is about 50/50, and most of them live in the Ichihara area including Ichihara City, but also … Chiba City, Sodegaura City, Kisarazu City, Mobara City, Togane City, Funabashi City, Narashino City, Ichikawa City Funabashi City, Ichikawa City, Urayasu City, Kashiwa City, Tokyo, etc.
We are a sports circle, and our main regular activity is badminton, but we would like to try various other activities if there are people who want to join us.

Practices are scheduled in advance, mainly on Saturdays and Sundays, and are held several times a month for 2 ～ 4 hours.
We have an average of 10 ～ 20 members who can attend practice, and we use two courts each time.
There is no requirement to participate, but we are looking for people with common sense.
As for fees, we collect rental fees for the community center and shuttle fees (500 yen per participation) from those who participate on the day of badminton, but there are no admission fees or annual fees.

Matches are basically mixed doubles, with both men and women playing together, so it is like getting used to the game in a match. If you have any questions about the rules or how to play, the members can teach you to some extent, so it depends on the individual, but the atmosphere is friendly and you can feel free to join.

⓪Gathering time(Basically we meet on site, so there is no problem if you meet before the practice start time, but for the members who meet at the west exit of JR Yahatajuku station with my car, we meet 30 minutes before the practice start time.
❷ Basic practice (30 minutes ～ 40 minutes, time is left to members, so you can find a partner and play freely, do general basic practice, or just stretch.

11. I can take you to JR Yahatajuku East Exit (pick up will be at the West Exit, but for our convenience, we will take you to the West Exit and back to the East Exit for ease of transportation. As for the rackets, we have 5 spare rackets, but if you start participating regularly, you will eventually need your own racket.
As for shoes, non-slip shoes such as gym shoes are fine at first, but eventually, for safety reasons, we recommend that you bring your own badminton shoes.
Shuttles are not necessary as we will provide them.
We mainly use ADDIDAS for practice and YONEX for matches.
We also have matches, but it is just the basics and we don't follow the rules so strictly that even beginners can feel free to join us.

For the schedule after January 2024, reservations will be made from 6 AM on the first day of each preceding month, and the schedule will be updated as soon as reservations are made, in sequence [e.g. ▷The schedule for January 2024 will be available on December 1, 2023, and that for February 2024 will be available on January 1, 2024 … ]

The meeting time depends on each date and practice time. Meeting time is different, so please cooperate with us to adjust the time when you contact us and meet on the day of practice.
We will hold an explanation meeting for prospective members at a nearby café (20 minutes ～ 30 minutes), and after the meeting, we can pick you up and take you to the community center.

If new prospective members contact us, we will reply to them during the emergency declaration period if there is no problem.
In that case, the meeting will be held after the emergency is lifted.
Also, we apologize for the inconvenience, but if we receive more contacts from prospective members than we can accept, we may have to decline them in the order in which we receive them.

You are welcome to join us with your friends and talk with us, but please note that we will have a brief meeting at the beginning to avoid any trouble. (The meeting on the day of practice will be held at a café or family restaurant near the west exit of Yahatanjuku station. If you are traveling by car, we can meet there directly.)
If there is no problem with each other's conditions, you are welcome to join us.
