[Story]
After a heart disease, his wife Soseki Shida, a novelist husband, lives with his only daughter, Ai, who is pregnant, and her husband, Hideki, who works for a publishing company, after Sakiko has passed away.
One day, Soseki is having trouble writing and takes a walk in Kisarazu ・ Shoseiji Temple (證誠寺) as a distraction. There, something strange happens. He hears his late wife's voice.
A few days later, Soseki is approached by a beautiful young woman, Takamine, who asks for his autograph.
Soseki is happy to oblige, but shortly thereafter, he is involved in a car accident and dies along with Takamine.
Sakiko, who has been looking forward to seeing Soseki again, rushes to his side, but she finds a woman she does not know, Takamine, beside Soseki. Soseki tells her that he is going to live with Takamine at her parents' house. Soseki had lost his memory as a result of the accident. Sakiko is disappointed to learn that Daisuke, a young man from a liquor store she knew, who also died in an accident, comes to live with her.
The couple thus begin a strange life of separation in heaven.
In her heartbreak, Sakiko meets a young man of literature in the city, and she has a series of secret meetings with him, as if she is trying to recall the image of her young husband ….
