~Internet Mail Order Trouble Fake goods by cash on delivery ! ~

< Case >
While browsing SNS, I saw an ad for a domestic brand of underwear. Thinking it was an advertisement for an official mail order site, I accessed the linked mail order site and ordered two bras for 5,000 yen with cash on delivery. Later, I paid the courier company for the package, received it, opened it, and checked the goods to find it was a fake. He did not leave the screen of the mail-order website, and the only information he had about the seller was his e-mail address. The courier told me, "Once you open the package, you cannot refuse to receive it. They told me that I could not get a refund. The contact information of a business that appeared to be a shipping agent was listed in the requester's column of the invoice, and the seller's information was unknown. ( 60s )

< A word of advice >
The mail order site where "fake" products arrive has ( 1 ) Large discount ( 2 ) Japanese font and sentence expression are wrong 3 ) Only cash on delivery can be selected ( 4 ) The client on the invoice is different from the seller's name. If you feel even a little suspicious, refrain from doing business with them.
Once you have paid the courier company for a COD delivery and received the merchandise, it is difficult to get a refund from the courier company even if you later find out that the merchandise is a "fake. Before paying, check the "client" information on the invoice, and if it is different from the seller you ordered from, do not pay and refuse to receive the goods.
If you feel uneasy or have any trouble, please immediately contact the Consumer Affairs Center of your local government, etc. ( Consumer Hotline 188 ).
