National Tie-dyeing Exhibition ・ Kusaki-zome Interchange Exhibition

This is an exhibition of works by artists and their apprentices who have trained in Arimatsu shibori and are active throughout Japan. A patchwork exhibition will be held at the same time.
Works will be sold and small items will be on sale.

This is an exhibition of works by artists and their apprentices who are active all over Japan in tie-dyeing and stencil-dyeing works dyed with authentic "natural indigo lye fermentation process". There will also be works dyed with a wide variety of dyeing methods, such as indigo dyed with Indian indigo and indica pure, and herb-dyed with plants and trees from the satoyama.
Some of the artists' works will also be on sale. Some small indigo-dyed goods will be for sale.
A patchwork exhibition will be held at the same time. We hope you will appreciate the diversity of fabrics.
Admission to the gallery is free. A "tea shop" with coffee and other beverages will also be open. However, there is no food menu.
