This is a notice from Kimitsu Police Station regarding [Telephone Deception].

Today, in the Nakano area of Kimitsu City, there are homes receiving phone calls from a person claiming to be a city hall employee.
In the call,
・ insurance premiums and overpaid taxes will be returned.
・ A letter is sent in advance.
・ You can do the procedure at an ATM machine.
Suspect a scam if you are told something like.

You cannot process your refund at an ATM machine.

As a security measure,
・ set an answering machine even if you are at home.
・ Use a nuisance call blocking service.
Be sure to do the following.
If you receive a suspicious call, please call 110 or the Kimitsu Police Station.
