This is an announcement from Chiba Chuo Police Station.
Yesterday, a deposit/savings fraud was reported in Hoshikuki-machi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, in which a person pretended to be a bank employee.
The scam was perpetrated by a person pretending to be a bank employee who called the victim saying, "Your account is being used for a crime. After that, someone claiming to be from a bank association visited the victim's home and stole his/her cash card.
Never hand over your own cash card or give out your PIN.
