Unwanted phone calls, including scams, malicious sales, and persistent sales calls, are infesting our area. Take the following free measures ！ Please set up and follow the procedures for your family members.

1 ． Always have an answering machine set up （ Landline ・ Cell phone ）
For landline, just press the voicemail button ！
Even when you are home, set up your answering machine and listen to the person blasting into your voicemail before picking up the receiver or calling back. The caller can pick up the phone or call back after hearing the voice of the other party blasting into the answering machine. Set the ring tone to a short （ 0 to 2 rings ） and you will be safe from accidentally answering the phone.
You will also receive unwanted calls on your cell phone, so set it to always, and do not answer directly except at registered phone numbers.
Note that automated voices are first and foremost a scam, so please ignore them even if they blow in your face.

2 ． Use of number display （ Landline ・ Mobile phone ）
You can avoid receiving unwanted calls by watching the number display and avoid answering calls from unknown numbers.
Landline phone calls require a contract, but NTT lines are free for households with residents aged 70 or older. Call 0120-722-455 to apply.

3 ． Application for no international calls （ Landline only ）
Since the number of frauds and malicious business practices using international calls is increasing greatly, you can prevent damage by setting your international calls to be disabled. There are no age or other restrictions. Please call 0120-210-364 for application.
