◆Case
I put my child in a child seat to move to the driver's seat, got out and closed the door, the auto lock locked and my child was trapped in the hot sun. The electronic key was left in the car. ＜ One word of advice ＞
When an electronic key is left in a car, for some reason the car doors are locked, or a child accidentally operates the door locks, and the child is locked inside the car. When getting in and out of the car with people or luggage, be sure to have the key with you, even if only for a short time.
If the doors are locked without the key in hand, they cannot be unlocked immediately. If your child becomes trapped, call a road service for assistance. Depending on the condition of the child in the car, call 119. During high temperatures, such as in the summer, there is a risk of heat stroke even if the child is trapped for a short period of time.
If the battery in the electronic key runs out while the engine is off, the doors may lock. Batteries should be replaced regularly. Check the owner's manual in advance, and also check with the car manufacturer or dealer if you have any questions.
