A call was received in Mobara City today from a person claiming to be a police officer from another prefecture, saying, "We have your bankbook when we arrested the criminal. Police officers will not direct you to a line account, use a line call, or demand that you transfer money for investigation.
These calls are a scam, so hang up immediately and do not answer.
Also, set your phone to go to voicemail at all times, even when you are at home, to avoid talking to the perpetrator.
