Beware of SNS-type investment scams

Information is provided due to an e-mail sent out by the Matsudo Police Station regarding a scam.

SNS-type investment scams are increasing.
SNS type investment scam is a scam in which people claim to be an investor or a celebrity, and deceive people into believing that they can make a profit if they invest in the scam.

- Points to be aware of -
・ I received a message from a SNS account claiming to be an investor or celebrity about a "money-making scheme. Invited to join a group chat.
・ Received explanations such as "just follow the instructions and you will make a profit" or "it's easy to make a profit".
・ Was told that "there are fees and penalties for withdrawing your hard earned money".
In such cases, do not make a decision on your own, but consult your family or the police.
