Beware of scam phone calls.

In Kashiwa City, many fraudulent premonitory phone calls were received on June 19, pretending to be from Japan Telecommunications Management Company, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, etc.
The MO was, "Communications at your house will stop within a few hours." Your cell phone will stop working." and other such accusations, demanding money to remove communication restrictions or to be involved in a crime.
If you receive such a call, do not immediately trust what they say and consult the police.
