We are currently receiving suspicious phone calls in Wakaba-ku from a person claiming to be our son.
The caller states, "I have cancer in my throat and I am sick." The caller stated, "I have cancer in my throat and I am sick," etc.
After this, it is expected that the offender will visit your home under the guise of surgery fees, etc., and trick you out of your money by tricking you into believing that you are related to the offender.
If the caller mentions 'money, cash card, PIN', it is a scam.
To avoid becoming a victim of a scam, it is effective to take measures to protect your telephone equipment.
Implement telephone countermeasures, such as setting your landline phone to an answering machine setting.
