Beware of Scam Using SNS Video Calls to Attempt to Impersonate Police Officers ！.

A number of people have been using the SNS call function to contact police officers, saying that they suspect you are involved in a scam, and then leading them to a video call on LINE, showing their police identification card and arrest warrants, in order to cheat them out of cash under various names.

[A word from the Ichikawa Police Department]
(1)Police officers will not contact you using the SNS call function.
(2)We will never show police handbooks or arrest warrants on video calls.
(3)Do not answer calls from blocked numbers or suspicious numbers and take steps to avoid talking to the offender.

Please be very careful as similar damage using LINE video has been reported in Chiba prefecture.
