Monkeys in Urban Areas

A monkey was reportedly seen near Goi （ Shiomi Park ） around 11:00 a.m. on Oct. 4.
A monkey was reportedly seen on October 6, around 11:00 a.m., at Goi Beach （ near Yoro Ohashi Bridge ）.
The monkey will move on after some time, so please remain calm and avoid any behavior that may irritate the monkey.
If you do see a monkey, please be aware of the following: If you see a monkey, please be careful not to move around the area.
・ Do not approach them or make eye contact
・ Do not shout
・ Do not feed or show them food
Also, if monkeys are in the area, please keep your doors locked.
