The main fishing grounds off Katsuura The Chiba Prefecture Coastal Small Fishing Boat Fishermen's Association
organized by fishermen from Kamogawa City, Katsuura City and Oyado Town, whose main fishing grounds are off the coast of Katsuura, has been working for over 50 years to conserve the resource of snapper, and Chiba Prefecture has become the largest snapper catch in Japan
