About the Old Yoshida Family Residence Historical Park
Old Yoshida Family Residence The historical park is a valuable structure that contains a series of buildings continuously constructed from the late Edo period to the early Meiji period, including the main building, shoin (drawing room), and annex buildings, as well as the garden, garden wells and other structures, and the forest and gardens of the residence, all of which remain in good condition. In 2010, eight buildings on the site ( the main building, shoin, new tatami room, mukoza, new storehouse, tool storehouse, nagayamon, and west gate ) were designated as National Important Cultural Properties.
