Preparation for heavy rain and strong winds

According to the forecast by the city's meteorological disaster prevention advisor, a low-pressure system with a frontal system is expected to move east-northeastward along the southern coast of the Kanto region. In Noda City, heavy rain and wind with thunderstorms are expected to intensify from around the beginning of the night of the 28th to early morning of the 29th. Please pay attention to the following information from the meteorological observatory.

○Be careful of sudden strong rain and gusty wind, and take care not to fall down when you go out.
○Check the TV or radio for information on rain and wind and the latest weather information.
○ Put away flowerpots, buckets, bicycles, etc. as soon as possible in preparation for strong winds.
○ Check batteries for flashlights and radios, and cell phones in case of power outages.
○ Heavy rain may cause flooding on roads. Be careful when passing through.
○ If leaves and other debris clog the rainwater troughs installed on roads, they will not be able to drain adequately. Please cooperate in cleaning them in preparation for heavy rain.
