Worried about job hunting, I saw an ad for a job hunting school on SNS, registered on the site, and received free counseling through a web conference. At that time, he was solicited to attend a seminar for approximately 500,000 yen, saying, "If you attend the seminar, you will receive a 100% job offer from a major company. I was forced to make a decision on the spot and signed up for the seminar without having time to think about it. Later, I told the company that I could not pay the high price and asked to cancel the contract, but they charged me 20% of the contract amount as a cancellation fee. ★ A word of advice
When you participate in a web conference to receive free counseling on employment, you may suddenly be solicited for expensive seminars or business schools. Please confirm the contents of the free counseling and whether or not you will be solicited for paid services in advance.
Don't believe definitive explanations such as "100% job offer" or words that stir up anxiety such as "if you don't do this, you will fail," and don't rush into a contract.
Be wary of seemingly kind invitations from people you meet on social networking sites, such as "I will give you advice on job hunting," as they may be intended to solicit you to sign an expensive contract.
