Chiba City ： Suspicious person claiming to be a construction company

In Midori Ward, there have been numerous reports of suspicious persons visiting nearby construction projects and attempting to obtain personal information.

There have been several robberies targeting the elderly and private homes in the Kanto area and in the prefecture, and the perpetrators may have made advance preparations by claiming to be a remodeling company, etc. to find out the family structure and whether there is cash in the home before committing the crime.

To avoid becoming a victim of crime, please
・ only talk to visitors over the intercom or through the door, and never answer directly
・ never give out personal information
