The "Tochigamisama Project," a work by Tokyo University of the Arts students in the "Omotenashi Exchange Program 2024

On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays during the "100 Years Later Art Festival - Uchiboso Art Fest", "Omotenashi Exchange Program 2024" is being held at the former Uchida Elementary School ！ Nanana Matsushita's work "Tochimisama Project" is on display from the first to third floor in the school building.

In this exhibition, with the cooperation of many people in the community, photographer Mr. Kiyoshi Kato, curator of the Ichihara Museum of History, and others, pictures of the goddess "Tochamisama" are displayed, inspired by the large characters "Yoshizawa," "Takataki," "Tsurumai" and "Shimada" in the city. The captions beside the works describe Matsushita's meticulous research into the history of the land and the thoughts that went into the artwork.

March 24 （ Saturday ） The members of the art club of Chiba Prefectural Anesaki High School, who cooperated in the exhibition on March 24 Saturday , also viewed Matsushita's work and commented that they learned about the southern part of the city, which they had never known before, and that the way she painted the pictures was wonderful and seemed to come to them in their dreams. The paintings were so beautiful that they seemed to come to them in their dreams.
