Futtsu City: JMA has issued a Nankai Trough Earthquake Advisory （ Earthquake Warning ）.

Following the August 8 earthquake in Hyuga-nada, Miyazaki Prefecture, the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) issued a Nankai Trough Earthquake Temporary Information Notice (Giant Earthquake Caution) at 19:15.

In the event of a huge Nankai Trough earthquake, Futtsu City is also expected to be hit by tsunami.
Although it is not necessary to evacuate immediately at present, please prepare for earthquakes by checking how to obtain disaster information, checking hazard maps, taking measures to prevent furniture from falling over ・ and checking your stockpiles and emergency supplies.
