A suspicious phone call has been received in Wakaba-ku from a person claiming to be a police officer of the Metropolitan Police Department.
The suspicious caller claims to be a police officer using international telephone numbers beginning with '＋ （ plus ）'.
No national police phone numbers begin with '＋ （ plus ）'.
If you receive a call from someone claiming to be the police, etc., make sure that the number displayed on your phone is real.
If the caller mentions "money, cash card, or PIN", it is a scam.
To avoid becoming a victim of a scam, it is effective to take measures against telephone equipment.
Implement telephone countermeasures, such as setting your landline phone to an answering machine setting.
