Cyber Security Month Announcement

Every year from February 1 to March 18 is "Cyber Security Month".
Do you know about the tactics and countermeasures for "support fraud," a frequently occurring type of cybercrime?
Support fraud is a fraud that is perpetrated by displaying a fake security warning screen that makes it seem as if a virus has suddenly infected your computer while you are browsing the Internet, or by playing a suspicious sound or warning tone to make you feel uneasy, and then making you call a support center on the screen to ask for money under the guise of "we will remove the virus.

If you receive a fake security warning screen,
・ do not call the phone number displayed
・ close your web browser
・ report or consult the police
