About wild boar sightings

We have received several reports of wild boar sightings over the past few days. The details are as follows.

[Location] Around Chiba Country Club Umesato Course
[Situation] A wild boar (about the size of a medium-sized dog) was seen.
If you see a wild boar, do not approach or provoke it, ensure your own safety and quietly leave the area.
*City officials and others are currently patrolling the area around the sighting.
*Wild boars inhabit riverbeds, mountain forests, etc., so it is impossible to ascertain the number of boars, but we are increasing the number of traps and are taking countermeasures.
*When walking your dog, please be careful because wild boars react excessively to dogs.
*Please be careful when locking your doors, as footprints have been found in private yards.
