Appointment Calls for Telephone Deception Scam Calls Deceiving Relatives

This is an announcement from Choshi Police Station.
In Choshi City, an appointment phone call has been received by a telephone deception scammer, who has deceived the caller into believing he/she is a relative.
Perpetrators deceived the callers about their relatives, saying, "I lost my documents," "I want you to lend me money. and "I want you to lend me some money. The caller claims to be a relative of the victim.
To avoid being tricked, set your phone to go to voicemail even when you are at home and do not talk directly to the offender.
